What are the key factors to consider in designing the workplace?

Hello everyone! I'm just starting my business and I'm trying to design the workplace and my offices to be functional, efficient, and attractive to employees. I want to make sure that I consider all of the key factors in the design process, but I'm not sure where to start. Can anyone provide any guidance? Particularly if there are tools I can use to make the process easier. Thanks.
