What is an example of the trending spaces metric for workspace utilization?
Asked 2 years ago
Hi everyone, I've heard of a metric called "trending spaces" and I'm interested in using it to evaluate our workspace. Can anyone provide an example of how it can be used to analyze workspace utilization? I'm curious to see how this metric can help us identify areas that are under or overutilized. Thank you all.

The "trending spaces" metric is used to identify workspaces that are either gaining or losing popularity within an organization. For example, by analyzing booking data or occupancy rates over time, you can better identify spaces that are increasingly booked or occupied, potentially indicating a rise in demand. On the other hand, you can also find spaces with decreasing utilization, which might be underutilized, and then find a way to optimize their usage. Nevertheless, monitoring trending spaces can help you optimize your workspace by reallocating resources, adjusting layouts, or repurposing underused areas. This will, in turn, allow you to better align with your employees' needs and preferences, improving overall workspace efficiency and employee satisfaction.
