Hi, I am an HR manager for an IT solutions company. We have been trying to assess whether to make the workspaces in our office have a free addressing policy. One of the major factors we are considering is the potential energy-saving prospects. How much energy does free addressing a workspace save? Thanks in advance

Free addressing in the workspace can help in lowering energy consumption by reducing the amount of required furniture and helping staff to use resources more effectively. The company can then better track and manage energy usage by enabling employees to freely move in the workplace. Occupancy sensors, for example, could be used to determine when a workstation is empty, and, if necessary, automatically change the lighting settings.
