How do I design an open space layout to maximize collaboration between employees?
Asked 2 years ago
Hello! We currently have a traditional office layout, but we're having some difficulties with collaboration and communication among our team. As a manager, I want to find a solution that will help us work more effectively together. I'm considering an open space layout, but I'm not sure how to design it in a way that will actually solve our current problems and encourage collaboration. Can someone provide some advice on how to effectively implement an open space layout and improve teamwork within our company?

There are a couple of things that go into designing an open-space office for maximizing collaboration, but it definitely starts with minimizing barriers. This means having lower partitions, transparent walls - or even no walls at all. Regarding the interior, you should look into mobile furniture, including standing desks, rolling chairs, portable whiteboards, etc.
