How to calculate the amount of office space needed for current and projected headcount?

Hello. Since our business is growing and our work model is shifting, I want to make sure that we have enough space to accommodate all of our employees while also being cost-effective. Is there anyone that can provide guidance on how to calculate the optimal amount of office space needed, including any tools or methods that can help me forecast our future space needs and make informed decisions? Calculating the amount of office space needed for the current and projected headcount can be a tricky task, but there are some methods available to help. Start with calculating your current headcount - take the total square footage of your office, divide it by 175 (which is the approximate recommended amount of space per person), and you'll get a number that tells you how many people you can currently fit in the office. 
Once you've got this information, you can plan out the needs of employees. For example, if an employee has a desk job, they won't need as much room as someone who is moving around frequently, and knowing this info will give you a rough idea of the total amount of space needed.
