How can I maximize a small office space?
Asked 2 years ago
Hi! I've recently opened up an architecture firm and the office space is quite small. How can I maximize the office space for the employees? Anyone have any tips on the best ways to use a small office space?

First, keep it free from clutter. Remove anything that no longer serves a purpose. To free up floor space, consider installing storage cabinets or organizers that hold items your team uses actively on the walls.
Since paper documents must be kept in file cabinets, folders, and boxes, they often occupy a lot of space. It would be the best time to rely less on paper and eventually go paperless.
It will also be best if employees don't have to be confined to small workstations but can use shared spaces instead. Kitchen counters or tables, for instance, can be a great meeting place.
