What are the essential elements to include for a great office design?

Hi there. I am a facilities manager at a company that's looking to change the design of the office by outsourcing interior designers. Some interior designers have sent me proposals, but I don't know which one to choose because I don't know which ideal office design elements to look for. Does anyone have any advice? This is particularly with the goal of increasing employee comfort and productivity. Thanks in advance for any responses!
