How can we design our office space to support the well-being of our team members?
Asked 2 years ago
Hello, we're looking for ways to improve our office space to better support the well-being of our team. Our office space looks pretty dull at the moment, and we want to rearrange some things. Does anyone have any advice on how to design the space so that it would positively impact the well-being of the employees? Like arranging desks towards the natural light...but also keeping in mind the efficiency of the office layout? Thank you!

No signs of nature can make employees feel cooped up, stressed, or even develop the sick-building syndrome. Combat this by bringing natural elements indoors.
Let in more daylight by opening windows and placing mirrors in strategic locations. Include some indoor plants to improve well-being and air quality, as well as to lower stress. Encourage breaks and brainstorming meetings on your building's rooftop to enjoy the fresh air and relaxed ambiance.
Minimize employees’ sedentary lifestyles by investing in posture-supporting chairs, height-adjustable standing desks, and social gathering areas or breakrooms that encourage people to leave their desks.
