How to ensure that office space meets all relevant safety and regulatory requirements?
Asked 2 years ago
Hi all, I'm part of a team that's responsible for designing and maintaining our company's office space, and I want to make sure that we're meeting all the relevant safety and regulatory requirements. However, with so many different requirements and regulations out there, it's a bit overwhelming. What are some best practices or resources we can use? Thanks!

The United States Department of Labor - Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) website is a great place to start, as it has many resources on best practices to avoid workplace injuries and untoward incidents.
The safety management section of the website has a downloadable guide on recommended practices, step-by-step guides, case studies, and other tools. In addition, OSHA also has training resources and educational materials about regulations and compliance.
It is also essential to review your state's safety policies and regulations, as they may impose additional requirements that must be met. It can also help to consult with an expert in office space design who has experience in meeting regulatory standards.
