What are the different types of meeting room layouts?
Asked 2 years ago
I'm considering moving my company into a new office space where, ideally, I can create a few meeting rooms with different layouts to accommodate the varying sizes of teams that meet. Does anyone know what the different types of meeting room layouts are? Which ones are commonly used? TYIA.

Generally speaking, there are 6 types of meeting room layouts:
- Auditorium rooms—suitable for larger groups and shorter meetings.
- Banquet-style meetings—a comfortable environment suitable for 5-6 people per table.
- Hollow square style—best for 20-40 people with a group leader.
- Classrooms—which are usually meant for long meetings with over 20 people.
- U-shaped room layouts—best for groups of over 15 people where there's a lot of activity and points to discuss.
- Conference stye rooms—suitable for serious discussions, not the best for large groups of attendees.
