What are the benefits of hot desking for employees?

Hi, I am a HR manager of a business that has been looking to use a hot desking approach. We have chosen hot desking due to the many benefits for us as a company (reduced space, lower energy cost, less waste etc.). However, we are concerned about the response from or employees at losing a designated workspace. What are some of the benefits to employees that can be highlighted in our next meeting? TYIA

Employees can benefit from hot desking in several ways, but the biggest ones are greater flexibility and improved mobility. Namely, with hot desking, employees can quickly change desks whenever necessary, so they no longer have to worry about arriving late or having to leave early. Employees will also enjoy the reduced clutter that comes with hot desking, as they won't leave any extra documents or personal belongings on their desks when they leave the office. Last but not least, the practice of hot desking can boost employee morale by giving them more freedom in where they choose to work.
